Multiple SAME register Entries Bringing Account to a Negitive balance!

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2009

I have QB 2009 and somehow I have multiple SAME entries in my register which has now brought my account to a NEGATIVE -$27,000.00, how do I have QB's identify those EXACT match entries and remove them for me without me having to go through two years of

Since this is a duplicate question, edit it and delete it.

If you use Pro Series Basic I might not be able to help you. If you use Turbo Tax I might refuse to help you. All others, watch out! ;-)

There is no feature to automatically ID the duplicates. You have to manually delete them. One way to help verify you did it right would be to un-reconcile the whole account and then start again and reconcile it,
