How do you get a check detail report to total checks?

Hey Schultzie,
The totaling of this report cannot be performed in QuickBooks. You can enter a product suggestion to include the total for your reports simply by going to the Help menu and then Send Feedback Online > Product Suggestion.
Meanwhile, as a workaround you can export the report to Microsoft Excel.
Although it will have all the the information, you can filter for Total in the A column, then you can total the column with the amounts to calculate the total of the checks.
