One password to open DMS?
Is there a way to password protect the all DMS client files? One password to get into DMS?

Yes, you can password protect all DMS client files with one password. For information on how to do this, refer to the support knowledge base at www.lacertesoftware.com/suppor... and search for "password protect client folder". Click on the article titled "Password Protect a Client Folder in DMS".
Unfortunately there is not an option to set a password to get into DMS.

Not directly (in such a way as it would automatically protect new clients,) but depending on how you are setup there are usually way of setting folder (or network share) access permissions to limit access to the data folders.
One other possibility is to set the default user profile in DMS to not allow access to the database. If this works like it should, then their profile will be flagged on the attempt so an admin can come through and give permission later if they are allowed to look at files.
