Adobe 9

I have found that Adobe 9 does not work with QB at all. I can only print previously completed bank reconcilations on one computer that has Adobe 8. Can someone confirm this?
You are correct. I found that if you attempt to print a previous bank reconciliation using Adobe Reader 9.0, I get an error message and QuickBooks shuts down. If I go to another workstation on our network that has Adobe Reader 8, I can print previous bank reconciliations fine. I have removed Adobe Reader 9.0 and reinstalled Adobe Reader 8, now everything works fine. Intuit please correct this situation!
i had the same situation as mdlee87, except i had acrobat 4 with reader 9. lee's solution worked, tho i have no idea why it would ("intuit"ively, it would seem like you would have to disable something in the acrobat, not the reader). also, it's a little hard to find; you have to go to edit/preferences/INTERNET and then uncheck the "display PDF in browser" box. anyway, congrats and thanks to mdlee87 for this work-around.
Adobe is aware of the 9.0 issue. The recommended solution is to upgrade Reader to version 9.1.

Adobe is quirky, especially if you have an older version of Acrobat on the same computer with a newer version of Reader. I could not view previous bank reconcilations in the pdf format, it gave me an error that I needed Adobe at least version 8 or 9. I had Acrobat 6 and Reader 9.
My work around, not a solution, was to open the Reader and disable the "display PDF in browser" under the Web Browser Options which is under the preferences which is under the edit tab.
I have read on Adobe forums that occassionally Reader will not function properly if you don't register it.
Hope this helps someone.
