I manage the Certifications for the ProAdvisor Program and I am sorry you are having trouble with the Advanced Cert. exam. I am unable to discuss the answers with you, but I will suggest some resources you can check out - the first is to make sure you have watched all the Advanced Cert Recorded Webinars in the Course Locker. There are 4 of them, and ALL the ANSWERS are in those webinars if you watch closely. Additionally, there are handbooks for each webinar, and if you print those, that should helpas well.
The Advanced Cert exam is designed to test your knowledge of QuickBooks, AND your ability to troubleshoot... this is designed to simulate real life - your clients can rarely give you all the information needed, so the questions on the exam do not always give you 100% of the information you need.
I hope this helps - my best advice is for you to go back to the webinars and the handbooks and see what you may have missed. The good news is that the exam itself will "keep track of"your correct answers, so when you go back in, you only have to take the ones you missed.

I concur the test do a decent job of demonstrating how QuickBoooks is used wrong, but question 18 is operating in a vacuum. I am not looking for the answer of course, but there seems to be a big disconnect on the question and supporting materials.
The question is over/under info on budgeting by customer, the following things don’t line up
1) What year is it for
2) The budget in the question data is FY2000 by account
3) No instructions on how the budget should be developed:
a. From Scratch (then what figures)
b. Based on previous year, then what year
One8--Follow the procedures/methods discussed in the webinar and/or PDF for the course. In order to maintain the integrity of the exam, we don't like to discuss specific exam questions.
