why is a revenue account needed on an inventory account that we will never sell by itself?
US QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions : 10.0: Manufacturing and Wholesale
In the item list, when creating a new item, it always asks (and doesn't let me close) if I do not put in an income account. However we will never sell this part as is. It will only be used in an assembly. Why is that? Maybe I am using inventory parts wrong.
