Emails titled "QuickBooks security notice," "Quickbooks update" or "Tax Information Needed within 30 days" were not sent from Intuit and should be considered harmful. If you ever wonder whether an e-mail from Intuit is real or fake, please refer to the link below.

Credit charge causes simultaneous credt payment

Credit Card Processing Kit

When I enter a credit card charge, Quickbooks automatically also erroneously enters a "payment" for the charge amount. I cannot correct it with "Edit Credit Card Charge" nor can I correct it when I try to reconcile the account.
