btrieve error cant access file

Btrieve errors are accompanied by an error number.  What error number are you getting and what screen are you in/what function are you performing (opening the program, a company, printing a report, etc.) when you receive the error?

Generally speaking, if on a network you should reboot the computer where the data is stored and your own computer.  Also run a data file index repair in the module where you receive the error.
