QuickBooks Pro Custom Purchase Order

QuickBooks for Macintosh

I'm using Quickbooks Pro. I created a custom purchase order template and saved it, but when I select it to create a purchase order, it's not the one I created. It shows up in layout designer correctly and can be printed from there.

Just being basic here, since I don't know how long you've been a QuickBooks 2009 for Mac user…

I'm wondering whether you're expecting the customized template to show up in the Create Purchase Orders window. It won't (although you will see fields that you've made visible to the "screen"). However, when you print your purchase order, whether to paper or to PDF, it should look like your new template.

What version of QB for Mac are you using, and what release is it?

Hmm, that is very strange. Some questions:

Is it possible that you have two similarly named templates in Layout Designer?

Did you customize one of the default templates or start with File > New > Purchase Order in Layout Designer?

Are you working with more than one company file?

In my version I went to create purchase orders, template, new template. I added a logo, took out some fields and saved it. It shows up under templates at the top divided from the default templates by a gray line. When I select the new template, the logo isn't there and it isn't arranged the way I arranged it. Thanks for your help.

I'm a newbie ... I would have never thought it would print correctly but not show up on the screen correctly. That was it ... thank you for so.
