There are many other products that have interface functionality with QuickBooks - but you mention quicken - which is entirely different. While none that I have reviewed seem to interface as seamlessly as QBPOS (probably because intuit has the code), careful evaluation of any POS system is important. If you do not need inventory management or a multi-workstation environment, Intuit also offers Cash Register Plus. The easiest place to review POS products that work with QuickBooks is at the following Intuit web-site devoted to third party applications that work with QuickBooks, but a listing on this site does not guarantee performance or any degree of efficiency - again they must all be evaluated independently.
