We just received and installed Cash Register Plus 2010 this week. I have entered most of our items and we are now ready to start processing sales. We have a lot of tax-exempt sales that we process. How do you handle a tax-exempt sale on taxable items?
Sorry, but you can't assign tax codes to customers in Cash Register Plus, nor can you set an entire sale to be non-taxable.
The No Tax button is only active when adding miscellaneous items. Because these items aren't set up in Cash Register Plus, the No Tax button gives you a way to include tax or not with these one-time entries. Currently, this is the only way to ring up non-taxable items.
We've had multiple requests for this feature, so it will be considered for future product updates in the 2010 version.
