Sales Tax Liabilty report

"the report you requested is too large and cannot be displayed" comes up when I try to run sales tax liability report. This happens in both qb enterpise 9/10. I submitted my data to the qb support team and was that qb can only handle so many tax items. Any thoughts on this issue
