The Administrator account can reset the password for individual users.  If that doesn't work, there are some Quickbooks password cracker utilities out there you can find via google.

If this information answered your question or was helpful, please mark it "solved" or "helpful." Please visit my website www.TurnKeyOffice.net if we can be of further assistance. Thank you!

Hi flowersindallas,

LauraMac is right. There is a password removal tool for this. I created a wiki article that will guide you through our password removal tool. It also discusses issues that can occur when you use this tool. Since you mention that you are prompted for a challenge question, that means you have Credit Card Protection turned on. Please note the special considerations when resetting a password with this enabled. I hope this you can help you get into your file and back to business.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have other questions. If it does help, please consider marking it helpful or solved!

Best regards,

Amy K
