Easyacct L&I setup for WA

EasyAcct : 2008

How can I set up L&I for WA in Easyacct? I only see answers for Quickbooks, but Easyacct is different.

I have not been able to figure out how to use a different rate for each of my clients.  I am only able to deduct one rate from employees instead of a different rate per account.  Washington has different rates assigned to each business broken down between employer and employee responsibility.

Here are the steps to set up this tax properly in EasyACCT.

  1. From the Company Selection screen, go to System, System Utilities, Payroll/Sales Tax Tables.
    1. For the employee portion, setup a local tax table for each company.
    2. For the employer portion, setup an other state tax table for each  company.
  2. For each company, go Write-Up, Update Company Files, Employee Information and switch to the Wage/Withholding screen.
  3. In the local withholding field, put the applicable company's tax code for the employee portion.
  4. In the other state tax field, put the applicable company's tax code for the employer's portion.
