How do I get all of my clients to appear in the HomeBase View after having to reinstall ProSeries. I would like to print labels, but after I had to reinstall, there are no clients in my homebase.

Go to "File" then go to "Client File Maintenance" then "Restore" then select the type.  Set the Source Directory at the top as 08Data from your Drive. Make sure the data is targeted as 08 Data. If this works marked solved so I will know it works

Click on the homebase tab.  Go to database maintenance.  If not already highlighted, click on 08Data and hit ok.  Click on Fix it.

MJ - I updated computers in our office recently and was in the same boat as Pentadad.  I didn't have any luck when I tried your method, but the datatbase maintenance did work for me.

Actually, both of those will work, but for different circumstances.

Database Maintenance usually will work if you uninstalled, and then reinstalled right over the top of the old folders.

and Client file maintenance>restore would work if your data directory is in a different place, or if you're bringing them back from a back up.

So, there you go guys. you're both right...
