Hello, i am making my invoice on QuickBook 2009 with 2 different taxes (5% and 7.5%)
The invoice is looking good until i print it.
Exemple
an invoice of 100$
5% = 105$
7.5% (on top of the 5%) = 112,87
Right?
Wen i print i get
GST asd 5,00% 5,00T
Provincial Sales Tax 7,50000% 7,88000
Total $112,88000!!!!
I cant get rid of the zero!
Is there a rounding thing i don't get?

It is set to Canada
Also, it may not be of importance but i item- taxes i put 7.5% and after i close the application it is not saving and always reverting to 7%
Bugging me :)

More suggestions:
1. Make sure that your QB 2009 for Mac fully updated and not a trial version. The current update version is R3.
2. Make sure that you carefully followed all of the instructions in the QB 2009 for Mac Help documentation article "Using QuickBooks in Canada." (Forgive me for asking, but I'm grasping at straws here!)
3. Maybe you need to create a brand-new invoice template (not a copy of an old or existing one) in Layout Designer.
4. Do some troubleshooting: a) trash all QB preferences you find inside the Preferences folder that's housed in your user (Home) Library folder; b) verify the data file and, if problems are reported, rebuild it.
5. Sorry to belabor the System Preferences under International: Format, but are both the country (region) and the currency choice correct? Make sure that every section on that tab is right.
Post back to indicate whether any of this helped or did not help.
Cheers!

You know what, i called Intuit and they told me that the version for the Mac is only fo US.
They don't make a Canadian version.
I have migrated to VMWare and will do it there
Thank you for the help!

srivard, did you speak to the Intuit in Canada? If so, they might have given you incomplete information.
QuickBooks 2009 for Macintosh (which is a U.S. Intuit product) does provide information for Canada users right in the application's own Help documentation. That leads me to believe that QB 2009 for Mac can indeed be used by Canada businesses using Canadian dollars as currency.
As I mentioned above, the section of the Help documentation is named "Using QuickBooks in Canada."
