Now that we can no longer use the Financial Statement Designer anymore, is there a method to generate cover sheets for our clients' financial statements?

Intuit Statement Writer includes templates for Cover Letters and the reports (with and without disclosures).

You could create a 'letter' template and go to the customer center and prepare a 'letter' for the customer which would actually be the cover letter.
ISW is only $99 for ProAdvisors and there have been a lot of improvements in 2010. You can even create charts & graphs that would be linked to the QB data to include with your reports.

I should specify that I am hoping to find a way to generate the cover letter without having to buy yet another Quickbooks product. Seems like the Accountant version would have a simple cover letter in the reports, but I don't see one. I am having a real hard time justifying buying a program for such a small need. I also resent Quickbooks removing that functionality. New versions are supposed to give us more features, in my opinion. That said, I guess I can just make a Word template for this. I just hoped I was missing something.
