Client Letters
does anyone know if I can print two different client letters with the tax return at the same time or do I have to choose one?

The solution
I'm not sure what you mean about two different letters. Do you mean, can you make the state letter be separate from the Federal letter? Yes, you can set up letters to be that way.
If you mean instead that you have a couple of different letters already set up, and you want your client to get BOTH of them (such as, a letter that you might have about PA residents who work in NY, and another letter that you might have about people who are e-filing their Federal return but not their State return), you can't choose both of them at once.
Your choices would be:
(a) Print one letter, then go to screen 5 and switch to the other letter, and print that, thus having 2 printed letters even though the file won't have both being "known" to Lacerte at once;
(b) Create a new letter, using one of your other letters as the starting point, name this new letter "such-and-such a client only," and if necessary, copy and paste the language from one of your other letters, into this new letter;
(c) Use Screen 5.2 to customize the client's letter for this year.
