AUR NOTICE

ProSeries

AUR NOTICE

Tax Payer under reported income and received standard letter from IRS. They paid this shortage within a week.

They then received another notice requesting the same and contacted the Irs. They were told that even though their check was cashed and processed it was now in another department and additional steps would have to be taken..

Something about AUR - Brookfield CT...

What's this all about?

On previous cases, if TP pays amount due, case closed..

Will ignoring this notice and waiting for everything to clear work?

 Big dollar amount?

If I wanted phone calls, my phone number would be in my profile. If you have a question, post it in the applicable forum.

Call the practitioner hotline number and they will usually put a hold on the matter until it is taken care of.   866-860-4259

Ignoring it may work also ...... give them time to match things up.
