pay credit card w/o reconciling

is there a way to pay on credit card without reconciling? I am working for a small company that mixes personal charges on their credit cards. I thought I could still bumble thru it if I could just enter the pertinent charges, but I can't find how to pay the card without reconciling. Any suggestions?
If your credit card is recorded properly, as a liability, then just write the check to the company, and for the Account call it "credit card" and not "office supplies." It should have been recorded when charged as:
DR Supplies CR Credit card
The credit card liability will not show up as Accounts Payable, but no matter, as long as you recorded the charges as above and paid the check as above.
DR Credit card CR Bank
Yes pay on the card then send the card to me and I will reconcile it
I think you are in a wrong forum. This is a Pro Series forum and discusses tax questions.
You should be in one of the many Quickbook Forums.
To change forums you use the edit function near the bottom of your question. Some Intuit Community Programs are not updated and do not have edit. To update your Intuit Community Program, sign out, then sign in. Then you should have the edit function at the bottom of your question and you should be able to move to a QB forum.
Some of the Accountant Community AllStars think the above Answer is very funy. These AllStars might be unhappy with the numerous non tax questions on the ProSeries forum. Some, like me think it is disrespectful and childish. If you take offense at the answer and do not think it is funny, you can report the situation. I think that Intuit has let you believe that you would get good advice and not be rediculed. I think we all expect great things out of the Intuit Community.
You can Report Abuse. In each Answer, there is a box marked Report Abuse and you just fill it in.
