Hard Program to use, Tutorials are the worst I have ever seen
Why can't I design an Invoice the way I want it. This program is very difficult to use. I feel like I wasted my money

You can customize your invoices (and other forms) much easier in QuickBooks Pro -- there's even a new Forms Customization Wizard in 2010 to help you create awesome forms quickly & easily. Simple Start is a very basic program and doesn't offer the same features and functionality as QuickBooks Pro.

You can't design Invoice, Estimate and Sales Receipts from scratch but they are Customizable.
Go to Invoices, then pick the form that you want to change. It would be good to make, and use, a copy of the invoice in case you mess up. (You can delete the copy later, and try again.) Also, the customizing the original templates is limited.
Go to Customize (from the same screen) and select Additional Customization.
You can do further customization the document from the Additional Customization window or select Layout Designer.
You can do this to Invoice, Estimate and Sales Receipt, if needed.
