I own a small IT service company and use quickbooks. I also have a helpdesk ticketing system and the 2 programs never play well together. Is there a version of quickbooks that can do both financial and helpdesk/ticketing system?

There is no version of QuickBooks that provides helpdesk/ticketing. If you use the Premier Edition you can create a sales order for the ticket. In Pro or Premier you can use an Estimate as the ticket.

I am familiar with ConnectWise they are located in Tampa and we have referred many clients to them, we don’t get complaints so I would expect the same from their ConnectWisePSA
There is also a software Tiger Paw. We have one company that is using it, few hiccups but works pretty well. They do have a great help desk themselves and I have called a couple of times with issues regarding the QuickBooks interface, when in the client’s office and they were always able to resolve my issue.
I am familiar with the integration of Connectwise to QuickBooks, especially importing time to QB Timesheets. Tickets are copied over to CW timesheets. There is an engineer I work closely with who created an integration tool. This process is an easy 5 minute process that batches timesheets so the billing takes place in QB. If all you need is timesheet task data integration, then you can do this with Timer, a free program that comes with QB. It installs on a non-QB computer. The Timer user enters the tasks, exports the tasks to the QB user, who imports the tasks. This populates the timesheet and makes the tasks directly available for invoicing. Or you can pay for online Time Tracker, which does a similar function via Internet access.
What file formats does the helpdesk software support for export?
It is an IFF file. I guess QB Enterprise is about my only true option.
