Reconciling Bank & Credit Card Accounts

US QuickBooks Simple Start : 2010

Every time I try to record a transaction in my bank register from a certain vendor it auto fills in the wrong account and payment. How do I save it so that it does not do that?

Hi JenniO,

Go to Edit > Preferences.  In General, select Automatically recall last transaction.  You will need to edit the Account again but once saved, this should have the correct Account next time.
