Unable to transfer clients from 2008 to 2009.
Can anyone help. Intuit support couldn't (!)
2.5 Message: Failure initializing miscellaneous Tax Return Services:_java.lang.NoSuchMethodError:_getProformaServices
No idea, other than to suggest a reboot. You never know.
I fixed it. I (1) un-installed the program and all of the registry entries (there are tons with this bloated pig) and (2) after much annoyance figured out how to restore groups of files (will this company ever give a straight answer or make intuitive software?), and then, for no apparent reason, it worked.
Three chat sessions yielded less than I knew about their software!
Sure wish I could find another software program, but when this finally works, it does ok by me. Just a little pre-tax season heartburn, that's all.
