Can we use the old ProAdvisor logo?

Can we still use the old yellow Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor logo? If so, for how long? I do not like the new logo as clients looking for QuickBooks help may not recognize it as "QuickBooks" since  with the new logo "QuickBooks" doesn't even stand out!

Susan, I totally agree!  I ask support and was told this is the new logo.  It looks like we are advertising for Intuit rather then advertising that we are a ProAdvisor.  Our "Find A ProAdvisor" web site still has the old logo.  I've put the new logos (QuickBooks and Enterprise Solution) on my business cards and it looks terrible.  You have to make it too big in order to read it.

I agree whole-heartedly.  In addition to that, have you seen the shirts in the Pro Advisor Store?  They have that huge orange logo, too.  It almost looks like you're wearing a shirt that says, "Hello, my name is..."  Therefore, I will not be buying.

Dear Intuit... I hate to sound like a whiner, but PLEASE change the logo!

All -

Thanks for the feedback.  We really appreciate it.  A few points I'll call out:

  • You can still use the old logo, but be aware that we no longer supply images of the logo on the site, and you can't copy the logo from other places.  If you already have a copy, great.  If not, you need to use the new logo
  • The power of QB Certification lies in the fact that it comes from Intuit.  If you are using the old logo, and your clients come to our site and see the new logo, it isn't quite as powerful, since it looks like you might be doing your own thing

I know that many people are less than thrilled with the new logo, and we really do appreciate that feedback.  Things can change, and do change, based on our accountants feedback.  Thanks again

This is addressed to PAP_William.  Your answer is just my point.  You are forcing us to advertise for Intuit.  I'm new to the program and have become certified in both QuickBooks and QuickBooks Enterprise and I'm working on POS.  Have you tried to put the logos on a business card?  The only thing that stands out is Intuit.  Please bring back the old yellow black and white logo as the "authorized" logo.  Just got off the phone with customer service about this.  She gave me the Office of the President's phone number 520-901-3280 to call and voice my complaint.  Is that what it's going to take?  Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.

Catnip -

I'm really confused.  I think my prior post mentioned that we appreciate, are listening to and are reviewing your feedback.  This is as an appropriate vehicle as any to voice your complaint.  There are several threads here on these boards, and I've responded to all of them with the same message - "Keep it coming...we are listening".

To be clear, the old logo is likely gone forever.  It is no longer how we brand QuickBooks, so we aren't likely to go back to an old branding.  We are also rebranding all of our products to make the Intuit stand out more, just like the new logos.

That being said, I am hearing some valid points here and there are other options besides going back to the old logo.  Please keep providing feedback...we are listening.

Thanks,

PAP_William

I think the new logo is terrible.  Intuit stands out (where is QuickBooks?) and it is....for lack of a better word....ugly.  My clients are not familiar with Intuit but with QuickBooks.  Intuit means nothing to them.

The print is definitely too small.  We are encouraged to get certified in many types of QB software, but the logos are too small for our clients to see our specialties.

My wife and I are both Certified Pro Advisors, plus I am Certifed in Enterprise Solutions & POS. We hate the new logos. We beta tested the new logos with clients and a few actually said who is Intuit?

I guess that is Intuit's point. However, most people here in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and the North Country of new Hampshire know about QuickBooks. We have no plans to spend our hard earned money to educate them about the difference. Fortunately, we had download the logos in both gif, png and jpeg format. We just have to remember where the PMS color is stored.

I did speak to someone who is on the Intuit Marketing Committee and gave her the feedback that no one recognizes the new logo.

At least I know when I make a mistake, I need to correct the mistake despite what you say William! I previously ran a division of a Fortune 100 company, and we did listen to our customers as defined by TQM. Certified Pro Advisors are customers!
