I was sharing a computer with my brother at work and we were both using Quickbooks 2008   I recently bought a new computer with the 2010 version of Quickbooks and would like to delete my company off his quickbooks without deleting his business....how do I do this?

You have two separate company files correct?  By that I mean he has his file and you have a separate file.  You log into different company files.  Correct?

If, and only if please, your company file is separate from his, you can delete your company file without effecting your brother's file in anyway.  Make sure it is on your new computer first.

Back it up first Then drag to trash (the company file not the QBs application file).

Hope that makes sense.  Please mark as solved if this helped or ask another question.  Thank you.
