user tracks?

I help my wife with her Quickbooks pro 2009. She thinks some of her employees (small company) have accessed her login and snooped in payroll and such, is there a way to find out what user has been looking at what and when it was accessed? Thanks!

The solution

Check out the Audit Trail report.

Go to the Reports menu and click Accountant & Taxes. Then, click Audit Trail.

You might search QuickBooks Help for "Audit Trail" to get more details about the report.

Unfortunately, when employees have accessed her login, it will be the user that shows on the report. If she uses "Admin" to logon, "Admin" will show in the report. She will need to log her time in QuickBooks, then crossreference the audit trail with her out of office or out of QuickBooks time to know that she has a real problem. It's a lot of work, but well worth the piece of mind.

If this answer solves your problem, please mark it solved, otherwise ask more questions.
