Blank age instead of estimate in PDF or print.

Estimates come up blank in pdf or print. Just empty pages, using custom or standard form. No email either, just a blank page. Was working fine before.

If you haven't made any changes to your system (new printer, e.g.), then you might try trashing the preference file. Shut down QB for Mac first.

I have tried that, and nothing. I have 07. It prints invoices fine, so not a PDF or printer issue, problem is just with estimates. It prints, just an empty page. Same thing if I preview it or email it. I need to send one out ASAP too. :(

I suggest creating a brand-new estimate template in Layout Designer (not changing an existing template). In LD, use the Print Setup for that new template and, when you're done customizing the new template, save it and shut down LD. Then try to use that new template for your estimates.

Please post back to say whether this helps or not.

Make sure that your QBP 2007 for Mac is fully updated. I don't remember what the last update was for that version, but you can check for updates from the QuickBooks menu.

You can try a few other troubleshooting basics:

1. Repair permissions on your Mac (using Apple's Disk Utility app).

2. "Bless" ALL of your QB lists: http://community.intuit.com/wi...

3. Verify the data file: File > Utilities > Verify Data. If problems are reported, rebuild the file (same menu). If no problems are reported by the verify, check the QuickBooks.log file (easily view in Apple's Console utility app) to confirm that, indeed, no problems were found. Should the log show problems, go ahead and rebuild, checking the log afterward to confirm that all problems were fixed.

If none of the above helps, then perhaps your user account on your Mac is corrupt. Please post back with your results, whether good or bad.
