When attempting to access my client with remote access I get the following message "The company file that you are trying to access was created with a newer version of QB"? Both were installed and updated yesterday. Why the message?

Sounds like 1 of the computers isn't updated to the latest release.
Or your pointing to the wrong file.

Hope this helps. If so please mark solved, if not please ask more questions. Thanks!

I also thought one of the files was not currently up to date but I updated both computers this morning.

Make sure they are pointing at the same file in the same location. It's not very pleasant trying to merge the files with any program or even doing it manually.

Hope this helps. If so please mark solved, if not please ask more questions. Thanks!

I don't have this client file on my computer.  That is the beauty of Webex Remote Access.  So, I don't think that is the problem here.  Thanks for you input.
