Name spelled incorrectly on 1120?

I am going over some financials, not prepared by me. I notice that the corporate name is spelling incorrectly. They are also not signed. Would the IRS reject them with the incorrect spelling?

As long as the federal ID number on the return matches with a number in their records and the name is only mispelled as opposed to being a complety differerent name, you should be ok.

I thought it would rest on the FID also. Thanks.

I never said I filed financials with the IRS.

Just a slight change in the use of pronouns, and we should all be friends again. We are too literal for own good, perhaps. Summer, you said "They are also not signed. Would the IRS reject them..." SInce the first sentence said financials, "they" must necessarily refer to financials, not the 1120, regardless of the use of 1120 in your heading. Do you see the confusion?

As it gets closer to tax season, I wish I had some hair to pull out.
