Is QB a good tool to get my foot in the door for accounting/bookkeeping?

I am retired laboratory person seeking to work PT/FT and considering learning QuickBooks to land an accounting/bookkeeping position. I nearly earned a degree in accounting but did not close on that. Is QB a universal tool for my desire?

Well, QuickBooks is the industry leader of accounting programs for small businesses. Many companies that are looking for a bookkeeper want them to know QuickBooks, so yes it would be a good one to learn!
