Data imports must be an IIF file & not a CSV file.

IIF File - http://support.quickbooks.intuit.com/support/Pages/KnowledgeBaseArticle/1...

Hope this helps. If so please mark solved, if not please ask more questions. Thanks!

You should be able to open a CSV file in Excel. Then you can save Excel as an IIF file, and then import that into QB.

As it gets closer to tax season, I wish I had some hair to pull out.

Since you don't need the detail in QuickBooks, I would create a daily (or monthly) sales receipt and enter the totals.

This will keep your QuickBooks neat and your data entry simple.

When in doubt, make a backup first!!
