"If you are in a golf-related business or better still, doing the same as I am but in your own geographical region, would you like to link up with GOLFnTours so we can provide intra-regional referrals to each other. I have to say though this is only one of the many ways through which we could widen our individual market reach for more customers."Most businesses could benefit from connecting to others in that way. I certainly could with my yoga business. I have a network of local yogis and national ones. We benefit by sharing yoga knowledge, learning how to market, passing on teaching opportunities when our schedules don't work out so well, etc. I imagine a business that makes products could also benefit by trading vendor names and prices, marketing ideas, trade shows, sales channels, might try to sell their products together in bundles, etc.If you find someone on JumpUp that might be interesting to partner with, you can actually connect to them with JumpUp! 1 - click on the business's name (e.g. "user_experience_design") 2 - click on the orange "+" next to "ADD USER_EXPERIENCE_DESIGN TO YOUR CONTACTS LIST" found in the middle of the page at the top (just below the navigation bar) 3 - if the business accepts the invitation to be a contact, then you will automatically be allowed to see each other's email address and phone number!we hope you enjoy that functionality. if you have any suggestions or ideas on how to make that better, please let us know! http://jumpup.intuit.com/forum...
