re: 2009 When you close QuickBooks and then another user opens it on the same computer, you do not have the option of changing the user ID until the software has been closed and reopened yet again. How can I avoid this?

Aren't you closing QuickBooks to begin with? Do you have to close it twice? I guess your question confused me a little. I tried setting up users on a sample company and I didn't have the same problem. It gave me the option to change users. First, are you completely closing out of QuickBooks when you are done, or do you just Close the File and keep QuickBooks running for the next person to log in?
