I have been told by tech support that the download for FSD 2009 is no longer available. Would someone be willing to email me a copy?

Do you mean the 2008 version that was used with 2009 QB? If you do it is here, I just happened to save a copy of the location.

Thank you Marc.  I'm not sure if the 2008 version is what I need.  I assumed since the version for QB 2010 is FSD 2010, then the version for QB 2009 would be 2009 FSD.  Anyways, I downloaded the file to my desktop and tried to install but get the following error message:

"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package"  Abort, Retry, Ignore

Retry: get the same error

Ignore: get this error: "Error 2350.FDI server error"  Abort, Retry, Ignore

Can only Abort from here.

I then tried and successfully installed the 2010 version which works for QB 2010 but not for QB 2009.  Perhaps it is an issue with having multiple versions of QB on my PC.  Any thoughts?

I have QB 2005-2009 on this machine. I use that file with 2009 QB Premier accountant's. In 2009 they went to the paid FSD but offered then at as add on if you could find it.

I don't have any suggestions. I had to re-download about 2 weeks ago after the last QB update and it is fine. So unless they have changed the file since then, I would assume an internal problem. I would have an IT guy look at the error if you have one.

After searching high and low for FSD 2010, I have been unable to locate it. Could someone please put up a link?

Thank you

In 2009, FSD was replaced with Intuit Statement Writer (ISW) although FSD was still available.  However, ISW is Excel and much easier to use than FSD.  ISW 2010 was re-designed and is better than ever.  There is a conversion tool to convert FSD templates to ISW.  I'd recommend you check out ISW--there is a 30 day trial.
