In QuickBooks, what is the best way for General Contractors to record bids from SubContractors and progress payments to them?

There is only 1 method within QuickBooks to enter a bill. Use the Enter Bills screen. You can make a partial payment on the bill but there is no progress billing like you can do on a customer invoice.
