how do I bill for balance due?
A payment for less than the amount due on an invoice was received and recorded leaving a balance due. How do I generate a bill or invoice for the balance due?
One way of doing this would be to use a customer statement. Click the statements icon, which brings up Create Statements window or go to the menu item called "Customers" and click Create Statements. Choose the customer in question and the correct date range. Then you can click the box that says "Show invoice item details on statements" to have the detail printed on the statement . You can click "Preview" and zoom in to see what the customer will see when the statement is printed. The statement will only show what is outstanding.
