I have a new client that I would like to do 2009 projections for but since he is new, I do not have him in my 2008 lacerte. Is there a way to do this in lacerte without having to redo his 2008 return in lacerte?

While I don't know about the "projections" program, I would suggest it's not a bad idea to redo the client's return in 2008 Lacerte anyway.  That way you'll have the correct info carrying forward for 2009, and you'll be able to give the client an organizer that has prior-year figures, bank names, etc., in it.
