Restored the wrong backup and started working in the data file before realizing it. Is there a way to find the transactions for a 2 day period?
I have the information on a previous backup.
Go to Reports>Accountant & Taxes>Transaction List by Date and enter the dates you need.
Thank you for your response. I found the transaction list, but I had entered credit card charges and many other items that are not listed.
Is there anyway to restore this data and not lose the current data in QB?
This report should list all transactions as of those dates. If you entered transactions with other dates, then you should look on the audit trail report.
If you restore the backup, then you will lose the transactions that you have entered. You cannot merge the files. However, for less than $200 there is a data transfer utility so you can import transactions from 1 file to another -- check out www.q2q.us and www.bigredconsulting.com
