I am doing bookkeeping for several companies, do they need an accountant anyway?

Are any of these companies publicly traded?
Do they need audited financial statements for the SEC, lenders, owners or other stakeholders?
Who is responsible for filing their tax returns?
Does anyone review the financial statements and adjusting entries?

As long as you can file their income tax you do not need any accountant. Accountants are only if you don't want to do the taxes. let me know if I can help I am a bookkeeper too.
