Learn how to start a QuickBooks Accountant certification course and become a certified Accountant.

Access and take training courses directly from your QuickBooks Online Accountant firm. Here's how to start a course and take an exam to get certified.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  2. Go to Accountant.
  3. Select Training.
  4. Select Get started to start a course.

Note: If you see completed courses but you haven’t taken them yet, contact Intuit Accountant Support.

  1. Go to Accountant.
  2. Select Training.
  3. Look for the certification you want to take.
  4. Select Take exam.
  1. Go to Accountant.
  2. Select Training.
  3. Look for the certification.
  4. Select Download certificate.
  1. Go to Accountant.
  2. Select Training.
  3. Select Training & certification history link.
    Note: You can download past badges and certificates in the same section.
  4. Find the certification you need.
  5. Select the icon in the Certification column.

Note: QuickBooks downloads a folder to your computer. Your certification and badges are in the downloaded folder.

Your Accountant tier is tied to a point system. You gain points for doing specific things, like earning QuickBooks certifications or onboarding new clients. Find out more about ways you can earn points and how much you can earn.

Note: If your certification expires, you'll lose the points you earned when you became certified. If you're already certified, getting recertified won't add any additional points.

  1. In QuickBooks Online Accountant, go to Accountant.
  2. Review the Benefits tab.
  3. Select the History link to see the activities that impact your point total.
