A new mousetrap.

Growing my business

I created RED Diamond Realty because my broker was gouging me for fees. $1600.00 a month, $1,000 for this and $400.00 for that. Franchise fees and admin fees, Accounting fees and copy fees.By the time I had got my commission checks half was going to the broker or Fee max franchise fees. I had come to that office and fee max to get a better split and in the end it was less than the broker I had left.

I paid $17,000 in fees in 2009 and it was my worst year in the business. Everything I did fell apart that year so the extra payments to fee max had really upset me. I started looking for a broker that was agent friendly. A brokerage where I could work, make money and work from home and not get killed by the fees. The more I looked the more I realized there was no such broker. All of them were gouging the agents in differant ways.

The owners of the companies were making a killing! The agents did all of the work and the brokers took half or a big chunk of the money. Fee max has 100,000 agents and gets $200.00 per agent per month! not to mention 5% of every transaction! One dela per agent at $150,000? 2% commission? $150.00 per agent per month on top of the $200.00! $350.00 plus per agent each month times 200,000! I couldn't believe the numbers. What do the agents get for this payment? A really godd website that cost about $20.00 a month per agent and a hot air balloon that cost about $5.00 per month per agent and a few commercials, about $10.00 per month per agent. Not too bad.

THAT is why I created RED Diamond Realty. The agents brokerage. We pay for the agents ads, insurance, signs, lockboxes,an information hotline, websites for the listing and of course the RED Diamond REalty website AND we send the agents leads! Agents keep 90% of the commission on most sales with NO monthly fees! This allows our agents to reduce commissions and be extremely competitive and still make a good living.

Advice for others

List you home with REd Diamond REalty and get your home sold for a fraction of the cost with the exact same services you see at the other big name brokerages at about a third of the fees if not less.
