Training myself out of a job

Growing my business

For years my clients have expressed that they feel guilty when they don't need me anymore. But I tell them, when they don't need to call me...I have done my job.

I'd rather teach a business to use the tools at hand than have them call me for each question. Building confidence and helping them detect their own mistakes has always been my goal. My clients can't make a great  Pizza if they are stuck in the back fighting with QuickBooks or the IRS.

I'm passionate about teaching QuickBooks to empower businesses. That's the only way our economy grows, when we move ahead in productivity. Let's lead the charge together!

Advice for others

Learn as much as you can to make yourself efficient. The less you have to think about the keystrokes or screens, the more you can focus on your business.

There are so many resources today. Local classes, online training, DVD learning...and especially this community. There is no reason not to know QuickBooks if you invest some time to sharpen your axe.
