Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. We apologize for the inconvenience & thank you for patience while we improve our infrastructure to better serve you. International versions are unaffected. Taking a Business to the Next Level

Growing my business

I've grown my handmade jewelry business, Peggy Li Creations, "on the side" while working at a full time job. That full time job has now become a part-time job, and I am looking for resources to help me make that leap to a full-time business owner. My jewelry has been seen on TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Private Practice", in the movie "Superbad" and in the pages of Oprah and Lucky magazines.

Advice for others

Treat your business as a business -- it took me a long time to accept that I had a business and not a hobby! If you treat your contacts professionally and persistently, your efforts will pay off. Set realistic near term and long term goals for yourself and most of all -- hang in there!
