Changing the world of Make-up :)
Launching my business
Growing up so close to the city, and having a photographer for a father, it was inevitable that I'd become fascinated with fashion and the culture. I started accompanying my father to shoots when I was six, holding his light meters and helping out whenever I could. Watching him create these images blew my mind, and I knew I wanted to be part of this glamourus high fashion world.
Once I got a little older, I started to hang out around the make-up station and wasn't so interested in the photography aspect. I would sit and watch the makeup artist, watch how they curled the models hair, how they applied eyeshadows. I remember most vividly the colors of the eyeshadows...the deep purples, the salmon pinks...there were so many to choose from!
I've always known that I would end up in this line of business. After being sent home from school in the 2nd grade for coloring my whole platinum blonde head with orange magic markers, and consistently borrowing and playing with makeup in my mom's bathroom, it became apparent to my parents as well. After spending 4 long months in Stockholm to pursue a make-up education, I came back to the states ready to show the fashion world what I was made of.
I love what I do, and I love the oppurtunities I've had to meet and work with different people and companiess. Being able to play and experiment with all the different brands of make-up, I've never really found that ONE brand I could say I loved. Being able to create my own make-up line would allow me to finally create that product, and make women all over really feel GOOD about themselves. A Green product, using no harsh chemicals, but still attaining those bright, brillantly colored products we've all grown to love.
Make-up has been my passion since I was a little girl, and I'd like to make it as enjoyable as it is for me for everybody else.
