Growing my business

My name is Penny Lane Crull and I started working with QuickBooks in 1999.  I noticed that there were so many small businesses struggling with their finances and bookkeeping.  I really enjoyed helping people solve their QuickBooks issues and making it work for their business.  I feel like I've made a really significant difference in the lives of my clients, and what more can you ask from a job?  Well, for me, the answer is to make more of a difference.  That's why I created QuickBooks Now! Interactive Tutorials.  They are completely self-paced and totally interactive.  It's almost like I'm sitting down with you and walking you through the program while you do the work. 

Advice for others

Get help!  Most people think QuickBooks is easy to use, and for a chosen few, right off the bat, it is. But, in my experience, that is not true for most people.  It's just like anything else, you've got to learn it to use it right.  It makes me sad to see so many people frustrated and uninformed over issues that are simple to solve...for those who are well-trained and experienced.
