May your wines Fall Bright.

Growing my business

We are a small vineyard in the Finger Lakes Wine Region of NYS on the east side of Keuka Lake.  We have been selling grapes, juices and winemaking supplies to the amateur winemaker (and some brewers) since 1978.  We started using QB in 1999 with the QB POS in 2003.  We have two websites, one for online shopping and grape list at www.fallbright.com and another for winemaking information at www.101winemaking.com

With 30-60 W-2's at the year end, I need QB financial.

Advice for others

Make sure your accountant who sets you up in QB for starters does not take short cuts.  Ours did as he did not use turbo tax, so a lot of my accounts are not set up for proper accounting.

Do not transfer your items from your financial program to the pos if you have that option.  Add your items to the POS.  None of my new items that have been added to the pos since the initial transfer are in the financial.  I realize we need to upgrade and hope that some things will be better.
