What Inspired My Business
I was a corporate accountant for 7 years until the economy changed for the worst and the distributer decided to lay off several employees to cut cost. I used that time not to feel sorry for myself but to build my business.
Most Unusual Client or Client Story
I have a client who had another individual doing his taxes. I stepped in and started doing his tax. He was trying to get a home loan at the time. HOwever, his income on the 1040 was too low. I did an amendment on a 1040X so he can show that he made a certain amount in 2007. Turn around and he still could not get the loan because his ltv was too high based on his current income in 2008. With such a high income in 2007 he started owed approximately 6 grand in tax liability. I then had to do another amendment to get that liability back to where it originally was.
Recent Business Surprise
When my client did not pay all the payroll taxes and how owes $20,000.00 and more in back taxes. I prepared all the returns but he did not pay taxes.
