Getting my first customers

Created by a woman known to her family as Aunt Ruth, Fudgnies (pronounced fudge-knees) got their start simply as “Fudge Squares” a Fudge/Brownie hybrid. As years passed, the family felt the Fudge Squares were too much chocolaty goodness for such a simple name, and it certainly didn’t pay homage to its Brownie counterpart, thus Fudge Squares were reborn as Fudgnies!

After monthly shipments of Fudgnies to Cathy in college, it was discovered the love for them reached far beyond the confines of her family. These chewy delights were becoming a fan favorite amongst Cathy’s fellow dorm mates. Since then, Fudgnies have become a much loved treat for business colleagues, friends, neighbors and the many families associated with Cathy’s kid’s athletic teams.

Since their humble beginnings in Aunt Ruth’s kitchen, Fudgnies have evolved into a variety of flavors: Original (Milk Chocolate), Almond, Mint, Toffee, Butter Rum and Gluten-Free.

Our company is based on the belief that our customers' chocolate needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is dedicated to meeting those needs. This belief and commitment yields a high percentage of business from repeat customers and their referrals
