In 1987, Galen Riggs started Accounting Services of York, LLC. For 21 years, the accounting and tax office has been serving businesses of all shapes and sizes, as well as individuals, throughout York County.

When Galen Riggs retires at the end of this year, his son David will assume his father’s former position of leadership. That being said, Galen Riggs will still be a key part of the business. While he is formally retiring, he will stay on board for several more years.
As David prepares for his new role, he takes note of some of the cornerstone business practices that have kept the business on track for 20 years now, practices like “all of our clients are our friends.” With this kind of approach, it makes sense that nearly 80% of their clients have come to Accounting Services of York by word of mouth.
